The New Jersey Manufacturing Extension Program is a Registered Apprenticeship Sponsor recognised by both the New Jersey Department of Labor and the US Department of Labor, running five registered apprenticeships that combine on-the-job learning with related classroom instruction. The occupations are Technical Sales (one year, 2,000 hours), Industrial Manufacturing Production Technician (18 months, 2,736 on-the-job plus 264 instruction hours), CNC Industrial Manufacturing Production Technician (18 months, 3,000 hours), Food Industrial Manufacturing Production Technician (18 months, 2,736 on-the-job plus 322 instruction hours) and Logistics Technician / Storage and Distribution Management (one year, 2,000 hours). Completers receive a nationally recognised, industry-issued Completion of Registered Apprenticeship certificate.
