About This Program

NERC-funded PhD partnership across Earth, environmental and life sciences with up to 24 studentships, each covering a stipend for 3.5 years, UK-rate tuition fees, a 9,000 GBP project budget, a 2,000 GBP conference budget and a 1,000 GBP training budget. The September 2026 round is closed; 2027 details are to be posted in autumn.
