An NSF REU site in the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Chemistry themed on chemical assembly, with projects ranging from the interaction of laser light with perovskites and the isolation of antimicrobial molecules from cell culture to covalent inhibition of enzymes at allosteric sites, RNA-protein interactions, quantum computing and materials. Participants receive a $7,000 stipend, a suite-style room and meal plan, and travel to and from Lincoln, and are trained on state-of-the-art instruments and in authorship ethics.
