About This Program

A nine-week nanotechnology research placement running 1 June to 31 July 2026 at Arizona State University or Northern Arizona University, part of the National Nanotechnology Coordinated Infrastructure. The stipend is $6,000 for the nine weeks and participants commit to 40 hours a week and must attend and present at the NNCI Convocation hosted by Georgia Tech. Applicants must be US citizens or permanent residents who have completed at least one year of college by May 2026 with at least one further semester remaining, and may not be graduating seniors holding a four-year degree. Applications require the online form, unofficial transcripts and two recommendation letters, with decisions within two to three weeks of submission or by 1 May 2026.
