The National Business Aviation Association awards nearly $100,000 a year in scholarships to enrolled students, plus a comparable pool for working aviation professionals. Student awards include the Al Conklin and Bill de Decker Business Aviation Management Scholarship ($5,000), the James Sullivan Aviation Scholarship ($5,000), the Lawrence Ginocchio Aviation Scholarship ($4,500), the Corporate Aircraft Association Scholarship ($1,250) and the AMT Maintenance Scholarship, which awards donated technical courses covering aircraft maintenance, engines and avionics. Professional awards include the International Operators and Schedulers & Dispatchers scholarships of up to $8,000. Awards are open to US citizens and non-resident students on a student visa.
