Malaysia's dedicated pure-science scholarship, run by the Ministry of Higher Education (Kementerian Pengajian Tinggi) alongside its other awards such as Hadiah Latihan Persekutuan and the Malaysia International Scholarship. MyBrainSc is open to Malaysians studying full-time in the pure sciences - physics, chemistry, biology and mathematics - at undergraduate, research master's or PhD level, at Malaysian public universities, private higher education institutions or leading foreign universities. Selection combines an aptitude screening test in pure science with an interview panel assessment, and applicants must not hold another scholarship, sponsorship or binding sponsor agreement. Applications are made through the ministry's biasiswa portal.
