About This Program

A free year-long after-school research programme run by the MIT mathematics department for high school sophomores and juniors living in the Greater Boston area. Students work on unsolved problems in mathematics, applied mathematics, theoretical computer science and computational biology under the guidance of MIT graduate students and postdoctoral mentors, and present their results at an annual spring conference. Related sections include the Menezes Challenge PRIMES Circle, a spring-term enrichment programme for Greater Boston students, and Yulia's Dream for Ukrainian students in grades 10 to 11.
