A ten-week summer research programme in the University of Minnesota Department of Chemistry, running since 1973 under a bequest to the university, open to sophomores and juniors in chemistry or closely related fields from outside the Twin Cities campus. Participants work in a faculty member's laboratory and close the summer with a poster session at the McNamara Memorial Center. Domestic fellows received a $9,747 stipend in the 2026 cycle, with on- or off-campus housing options.
