A trade and technical training scholarship from the mikeroweWORKS Foundation aimed at closing the skills gap in fields such as construction, manufacturing, energy and transportation. The program judges work ethic, references and commitment to a trade rather than GPA or standardised test scores, and is open to career changers as well as recent high school graduates. Only accredited programs of two years or less qualify; bachelor's and other four-year degree programs are excluded. Awards go toward tuition, books and tools.
