About This Program

One of the world's largest scholarship initiatives, providing full funding for undergraduate and graduate study to talented young Africans facing financial barriers, at partner universities across Africa, North America, Europe and the Middle East. Awards cover tuition, accommodation, books, mentoring, leadership development, career services and travel. The programme places particular emphasis on women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics, young people with disabilities, and refugee or displaced youth. Applicants must be citizens of an African country and are generally 28 or younger at application, extended to 32 for refugees, displaced applicants and those living with a disability.
