Maricopa County Community College District
A ten-day, in-person entry course in Industrial Technology for the Semiconductor Industry, developed with Intel and delivered across the Maricopa County Community College District at four hours a day. Participants earn three college credits, the NIMS Technician certification and a professional skills badge. A $306 tuition stipend covers Arizona resident tuition, including the $15 registration fee, and is awarded on successful completion of the course, the NIMS certification test and at least 80% in the Professional Skills component. Aimed at people exploring semiconductor and advanced manufacturing work rather than those already holding a technical degree.
