MAES (Latinos in Science and Engineering) awards Graduate, Founders, Presidential and General scholarships to registered MAES members pursuing science, technology, engineering or mathematics degrees, judged on academic achievement, financial need, leadership and community service. MAES also runs the MAES Leadership Academy for student chapter officers, regional Chapter Development Summits, the Science Extravaganza STEM outreach event for middle and high school students, and a FIRST robotics mentoring programme.
