Bursaries from the London Mathematical Society supporting undergraduates registered at UK institutions to undertake a summer research project in mathematics under academic supervision. Awards are made on a weekly-rate basis and host institutions are asked to match-fund at least half of the grant. Students are normally expected to be on track for a first class degree, and applications are made by the supervising academic.
