California Institute of Technology
A ten-week summer research program inviting undergraduates in physics, astronomy, and engineering from any institution to advance gravitational-wave science under experienced mentors. Projects span detection technologies, strong-field gravity, astrophysical sources, LIGO data science, optics, lasers, mechanical systems, controls, and electronics. Students may work at Caltech in Pasadena or at the LIGO interferometer sites in Hanford, WA or Livingston, LA, and receive a stipend for the full-time fellowship.
