A ten-week summer school running June 1 to August 7, 2026 with LANL's Space Remote Sensing and Data Science group, aimed at developing new leaders in remote sensing and advanced imaging for the national security mission space. Students carry out mission-relevant research while learning sensing technologies and analysis techniques and attending expert seminars. Up to ten students are accepted each year. Applicants must be US citizens and current graduate students in science or engineering with a GPA of 3.2 or above; backgrounds in physics, engineering, mathematics or computational sciences and an interest in signal processing or imaging science are preferred. The position is paid and applications are reviewed on a rolling basis until filled, with selections announced in early February.
