A paid summer research internship in LANL's Data Science at Scale team, based in Los Alamos, New Mexico. Students choose a ten to twelve week block within the May to September window to fit their academic calendar. Recent project topics include ensemble data management and analysis, machine learning models for scientific data, front-end visualisation tools for ensemble data, and foundation models for scientific data. Applicants must be enrolled in or accepted to an undergraduate or graduate degree programme with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.2 and be able to live and work in the United States; applications go through lanl.jobs with review generally concluded by 30 March.
