An annual course held in Karthaus, northern Italy, introducing PhD students working on glaciology-related climate projects to glacier and ice sheet dynamics and ice-climate interactions. Topics include numerical modelling, ice cores and ice-ocean interaction, and the course carries 3 EC credits. A few places are open to junior scientists.
