A summer research programme funded through Kansas NSF EPSCoR offering twelve undergraduate placements across the University of Kansas, Kansas State University and Wichita State University. Research centres on community disaster resilience, covering disaster planning, infrastructure challenges and the resilience of water, energy and transportation systems, and students from all academic disciplines are welcome. Participants receive a $7,000 stipend plus summer housing and a campus meal plan; eligibility is limited to US citizens, nationals or permanent residents who have completed at least one year of undergraduate study.
