ITE Daniel B. Fambro Student Paper Award

Official Website ite.org

About This Program

An annual paper competition from the Institute of Transportation Engineers that encourages student members to carry out and report independent original research on traffic or transportation engineering topics. The winner receives a trophy or plaque presented at the ITE Annual Meeting Awards Luncheon, travel reimbursement of up to $1,000, free annual meeting registration and a ticket to the awards luncheon. Papers must have a single student author — advisors may be listed but cannot be co-authors — and are submitted first to the ITE District Awards Coordinator before districts forward entries to the national competition. The award honours Daniel B. Fambro of Texas A&M.
