Indiana's last-dollar grant, part of the Next Level Jobs initiative, paying tuition and mandatory fees for certificate programmes in five high-demand sectors: advanced manufacturing, building and construction, health sciences, IT and business services, and transportation and logistics. Approved providers include Ivy Tech Community College, Vincennes University and Indiana Institute of Technology. Applicants must be Indiana residents and US citizens holding a high school diploma or equivalent with no prior college degree, must enrol full-time if dependent or at least half-time if independent, must file the FAFSA and must maintain satisfactory academic progress. There is no family income limit and no April 15 state deadline, but the Pell Grant reduces the award because it is last-dollar.
