The Imagine America Foundation distributes more than $10 million a year in tuition assistance to students attending career and technical colleges across the United States, covering mechanical sciences, health sciences, IT and business programmes. Students create a free profile to see the awards and partner schools open to them, with separate award tracks for high school students, adult learners and military service members. For the applied and technical end of STEM - automotive and diesel technology, HVAC and refrigeration, welding, allied health and IT certification - it is one of the largest single sources of non-institutional tuition support, and it funds credential and diploma programmes that most degree-focused scholarships exclude.
