Institute for Field Research
The Vera R. Campbell Promise Scholarship supports undergraduates attending higher education institutions in Los Angeles County, California, to participate in Institute for Field Research archaeological field schools, with priority to first-generation students with financial need and students who grew up in LA County. It offers at least $5,000 toward the cost of any IFR field school in the US or abroad, including travel expenses. Students of any nationality or major may apply but must be admitted to a field school, and previous recipients are not eligible.
