A $1,000 scholarship established in 2023, first awarded in 2024, for inducted IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu members who are US citizens enrolled full time in electrical engineering or a related field at an accredited US university and have completed their third year at an active IEEE-HKN chapter. Up to three undergraduate and two graduate recipients are chosen each year on scholastic performance, community service and IEEE-HKN involvement; graduate applicants are also assessed on publications and research impact. Recipients are announced by July 30 and recognised at the IEEE-HKN Student Leadership Conference.
