A US$1,000 scholarship established in 2025 for inducted IEEE-Eta Kappa Nu members at universities with an active chapter in IEEE Region 10 (Asia-Pacific), open to undergraduate and graduate students who have completed their third year in an IEEE-HKN field of interest and are enrolled full time. Selection weighs scholarship, character and contributions to chapter, department, university and community; applicants submit two to five support letters, a 1,000-1,500 word essay and a transcript. The award may not be presented in a year when no qualified candidate is identified.
