IEEE Geoscience and Remote Sensing Society
Microgrants of up to $500 USD per individual for IEEE GRSS members pursuing advanced degrees or working in geosciences and remote sensing, to support professional development activities. Priority goes to applicants from marginalized backgrounds and underrepresented regions, and a person may receive a microgrant no more than once every four years. The 2026 cycle announced outcomes June 1, 2026 with expenditures due by October 31, 2026; the application is currently closed.
