Awarded by the International Centre for Diffraction Data to graduate students working in crystallography-related fields. Each scholarship is worth US$2,500 and includes a one-year subscription to the PDF-5+ 2027 database. Applicants must be enrolled in a graduate degree programme during the 2027 calendar year; students with a graduation date before 1 July 2027 are not eligible. The number of scholarships granted each year is limited by available funding. Applications are submitted through the ICDD online applicant portal.
