A Canadian initiative addressing the shortage of Indigenous (First Nations, Inuit and Metis) and Black professors in engineering and computer science across Canada. The project places doctoral fellows at partner Canadian universities and pairs each fellow with a mentor through a mentor-mentee matching process, alongside internship opportunities and an alumni network of current and former IBET Fellows.
