Travel scholarships from the International Association for Food Protection that fund full-time students in food-safety and food-microbiology degree programmes to attend and present at the IAFP Annual Meeting. Awards carry a plaque plus travel funds; most are aimed at graduate students, with a separate undergraduate poster competition. The associated Peanut Proud Graduate Student Scholarship adds a $2,000 academic award plus travel expenses on its own later deadline. The main application deadline falls in January each year - January 20 for the 2026 meeting in New Orleans - and IAFP also runs student poster and technical presentation competitions with separate awards at the meeting.
