An eight- to ten-week in-person research fellowship at Huntington Medical Research Institutes in Pasadena, California, where undergraduates join laboratories working on cardiovascular disease and neuroscience — including Alzheimer's disease, neurovascular research, migraine and cardiac toxicity. Participants work Monday to Friday alongside HMRI investigators. Applicants need not major in a science but are expected to have general biology or chemistry background and demonstrated interest in biomedical research; students entering their sophomore, junior or senior year are eligible. Housing and transportation are not provided. Applications typically open in the November before the summer cohort.
