The University of Hong Kong's Presidential PhD Scholar Programme offers up to about HK$445,800 in the first year, including a monthly postgraduate scholarship of HK$28,700, a composition fee waiver, a cash award and a travel allowance. All applicants to the full-time PhD programme in Hong Kong for 2027/28 admission are considered automatically, with the Main Round running from 1 September to 1 December.
