Run by UTSA's Center for Infrastructure Assurance and Security, Hivestorm is a collegiate cyber defense competition in which teams of 2-4 registered students secure provided Windows and Linux virtual machines by removing malware, correcting misconfigurations, and mitigating vulnerabilities, with real-time scoring on a central scoreboard.
