A six-week intensive residential encounter with college-level mathematics for talented and highly motivated high school students, running since 1971. Participants spend mornings in class six days a week, attend evening problem sessions, and use afternoons for independent study, with the programme emphasising active mathematical work over passive lectures. HCSSiM is a legally separate entity from Hampshire College and continues to operate independently of the college's closure. Financial aid is available to qualifying applicants.
