The national internship programme of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities, placing college students and recent graduates in paid summer and semester-long internships and co-op assignments at federal agencies and private corporations in Washington, DC and across the country. Federal placements include science and technical agencies such as USDA and the Forest Service, so STEM students can use it as a route into federal research and field work. Applicants must be at sophomore standing or above with a minimum 3.0 GPA and enrolled in a degree-seeking programme at an accredited institution; some federal placements additionally require U.S. citizenship.
