A global nonprofit network of teenagers building software and hardware projects, free for every teenager aged 13 to 18 with no experience or background requirement. It runs more than 1,500 in-person clubs at high schools worldwide, regular hackathons and build events, and a Slack community of tens of thousands of teen makers. Members get free access to premium developer tooling including GitHub Education and Brilliant Premium, plus mentorship sessions with people working in technology. Hack Club also operates HCB, a fiscal-sponsorship platform that lets 700-plus teenager-led teams accept donations and run as nonprofits, which is how many student hackathons and robotics teams handle their money.
