The Forging Industry Educational and Research Foundation awards up to 18 scholarships annually (including the Charles W. Finkl, Al Underys Memorial, Edward F. Wozniak Memorial, and Forging Industry Women's scholarships) to students in metallurgical, materials, mechanical, chemical, computer, electrical, or industrial engineering. Awards range from $1,000 to $5,000.
