Five hundred four-year scholarships from the Elks National Foundation, ranging from 1,000 to 7,500 dollars a year, judged on scholarship, leadership and financial need. The top 20 finalists receive 30,000 dollars in total and the remaining 480 recipients receive 4,000 dollars each. Applicants must be current high school seniors or the equivalent and US citizens; there is no requirement to be related to an Elks member, but students who have already graduated high school, and permanent legal residents who are not citizens, are ineligible. Winners must enrol full-time, meaning at least 12 semester hours, at an accredited four-year US college or university. The 2027 application closes 12 November 2026 at 11:59pm Pacific.
