The joint IBEW and NECA body that develops the curriculum used by local electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) centres across the United States. It is not itself the place you apply for an apprenticeship - applications go to a local JATC - but it produces the core and specialty curriculum those centres teach, runs a blended learning platform combining classroom instruction with online coursework, supplies instructor resources and an online bookstore of course materials, and hosts the annual National Training Institute. Useful as the reference point for what a unionised electrical apprenticeship actually covers before approaching a local training centre.
