An NSF Advanced Technological Education national centre based in Sanford, North Carolina, supporting more than 500 environmental technology programmes across the United States. Its Immersive Ed Center gives students instructional videos, simulations and virtual labs covering water and wastewater, environmental sampling and natural resources technology, built as desktop modules and training simulations for classroom use. The centre also runs job task analyses with industry partners so that programme curricula match the skills employers actually hire for.
