A 10-week funded summer collaboration between full-time faculty at institutions historically marginalized in STEM research and a DOE national laboratory. Participants choose either the Research Collaboration track, open to all eligible faculty, or the Teaching Initiative track for returning participants. Faculty may bring up to two students on the project, one of whom may be a graduate student. Applicants must confirm their institution's eligibility before applying; the program runs on an annual cycle administered by the DOE Office of Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists.
