Scholarships from the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Nuclear Energy, awarded through the University Nuclear Leadership Program and administered via NEUP, for students at two- and four-year institutions pursuing nuclear energy-related study. The four-year college and university track provides $10,000 toward tuition and additional expenses for the academic year; a separate trade school and community college track provides $5,000 to students training as nuclear energy-related technicians. Requests for Applications are issued annually and applications are submitted through proposals.inl.gov. Students may apply without their institution being UNLP-approved, though the institution must become approved before award funds transfer.
