About This Program

A Department of Defense scholarship-for-service program (formerly CySP) for rising junior and senior undergraduates and graduate students studying cybersecurity and information security at institutions with a National Center of Academic Excellence in Cybersecurity designation. Scholars receive full tuition, fees, books, and a living stipend (about $29,000 for undergraduates and $34,000 for graduate students), with a DoD civilian service obligation of one year per scholarship year after graduation.
