A 7.5-week summer research programme at DESY in Hamburg or Zeuthen, Germany for undergraduates in physics and related disciplines including scientific computing and engineering. Students join research in photon science, accelerators, elementary particle physics and astroparticle physics, working on detectors, data analysis, software development, theory and scientific computing alongside a lecture series and facility tours. Support includes free hostel accommodation, a daily stipend of EUR 28.50 and at least partial travel reimbursement. Applications close in February for the following summer.
