DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service)
DAAD's In-Country/In-Region Programme funds Master's and doctoral study for graduates from developing countries, especially future university teachers, mainly at universities in their home country or home region. Regions include Sub-Saharan Africa (main focus), Central and South America, South and Southeast Asia and the Middle East. Funding covers tuition fees, a monthly scholarship rate, study and research and thesis printing allowances, and for in-region holders travel and usually health insurance.
