University of Toronto
Prize scholarships from the Centre for Quantum Information and Quantum Control that fund advanced undergraduates for four months of full-time summer research with a CQIQC-affiliated group at the University of Toronto. The award is $10,000 in total for the four months, half from CQIQC and half from the hosting supervisor, and recipients cannot take courses during the term. Eligible students major in physics, chemistry, computer science, mathematics, electrical or materials engineering, have at least one year remaining in their degree, and have permission to study in Canada. Applications go by email to the CQIQC administrator in late January, and successful applicants then secure a CQIQC member as supervisor.
