A full-ride presidential scholarship from the Calvin Coolidge Presidential Foundation that covers tuition, room, board and expenses for four years of undergraduate study, and - unusually for a full ride - is portable to any accredited US college or university rather than tied to one campus. That portability makes it directly useful to a student aiming at a specific engineering, computing or science department. Applicants must be current high school juniors who will enrol full-time as first-time undergraduates in the following fall, and must be US citizens or legal permanent residents by the application deadline. No restriction on intended major is published, so STEM-bound applicants compete on equal footing. Immediate family members of Coolidge Foundation employees, trustees and major donors are excluded. The Foundation also runs the broader Coolidge Senators programme for applicants who do not win the full award.
