CIMPA, the International Centre for Pure and Applied Mathematics, has spent nearly 50 years widening access to mathematical research on the principle that access must be equitable and open to as many people as possible, with a focus on researchers and research communities in developing countries. It organises CIMPA Schools and partnership schools, courses and thematic programmes, and awards CIMPA Fellowships and CIMPA-ICTP Research in Pairs grants, with participants and partner institutions across Africa, South America, Asia and Europe.
