An embedded research fellowship led by CIHR's Institute of Health Services and Policy Research, placing PhD trainees, postdoctoral researchers and early career researchers inside health system organizations to work on pressing system problems. Fellows join a national cohort, receive co-mentorship from both a research and a system leader, and follow a professional development curriculum built on the health services and policy research core competency framework. Launched in 2017 and expanded in 2022 with an early career researcher stream.
