A graduate research internship run jointly by the U.S. Census Bureau and the National Science Foundation, placing graduate students inside the Census Bureau to work on research problems in survey methodology, statistics, economics and data science using the agency's own data infrastructure. Distinct from the Bureau's general Pathways internships in being research-focused and pitched at doctoral and master's students already engaged in a research programme.
