The student programme portfolio of the U.S. Census Bureau, the federal agency behind the decennial census and the country's major economic and demographic surveys. The Pathways Internship Program provides paid work experience to high school, undergraduate and graduate students on seasonal or year-round terms, and interns who complete it may be eligible for non-competitive conversion to a permanent or term position. A separate Economic Measurement and Research Internship (EMRI) track recruits in economics, accounting and related fields.
