A joint UCL and University of Cambridge doctoral training centre in photonic and electronic systems, delivered as an integrated MRes plus PhD pathway. EPSRC studentships fund UK/home applicants on the MRes+PhD route. All funded places for the 2026 cohort have been allocated; pre-applications reopen in November 2026 for entry in late September 2027.
